Commentary: Of all recent attacks, the Fort Hood shooting is perhaps the only one that’s going to attract public attention for a long time. Although any similarities with other mass shooting incidents in the US will certainly be obscured by a theme of war on radical Islam and Muslim terrorism, the Fort Hood shooting is in many ways very similar to other workplace/school/community shootings analyzed in the film.
